I'm new to LeScent. Is Best Sellers a good place to start?

Yes. Best Sellers brings together customer favourites across our scents and formats, so it's an easy first look at the range. Start with a fragrance you already enjoy, then narrow it down by Fragrance Family, Scent Mood or format.

How do I choose a fragrance online without smelling it first?

Start with what you already know you like. If you love a well-known fragrance, use the Inspired By filter to find our version. Then use Fragrance Family and Scent Mood to shortlist two or three, and check the Opening, Heart and Trail notes on each product page. Still unsure? Tell us what you normally wear and we'll help you narrow it down.

What makes a product a Best Seller?

Best Sellers are some of the products our customers order most, across different scents and formats. It tells you what's popular, not which scent is strongest or lasts longest. How a fragrance wears depends on the scent, the format, how you apply it, your skin and the weather.

What does “Inspired by” mean?

“Inspired by” identifies the fragrance style or scent profile that influenced a LeScent fragrance. The product is a LeScent product, not the original designer or niche fragrance, and LeScent is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the brands referenced.

Will a LeScent fragrance smell exactly like the original fragrance it is inspired by?

No. Each LeScent fragrance is our interpretation of the scent profile and overall character it is inspired by. It is not represented as an identical copy of the original fragrance.

Can I get the same scent in a different format?

Often, yes. Many of our scents come in more than one format, such as Roll-On Perfume Oil, Perfume Hair Mist, Perfume Fragrance or Interior Fragrance. It varies by scent, so check the product page or browse by product type to see what's available. Wearing the same scent in two formats is also an easy way to layer it.

What is the difference between Iso E Super, Iso G Super (Gamma) and Ambroxan, and which should I choose?

Iso E Super is the airiest and most transparent woody option and is a versatile starting point for fresh or understated layering. Iso G Super (Gamma) is deeper and more distinctly woody and can reinforce woody or deeper fragrances. Ambroxan is warmer and more amber-like. Choose according to the character you want to add rather than expecting one primer to suit every fragrance.

Which Best Seller should I choose as a gift?

If you know a fragrance they already wear, start there and use the Inspired By filter to find its LeScent match. If you're not sure, fresh and clean scents are usually the easiest choice, while woody, amber or sweet scents suit someone who already enjoys that style.
